Spiral Table finished
Part 5

Well, I finally got the finishing done.   I applied 3 coats of BLO (24 hours apart), and then waited 8 days for the oil to dry.   I followed that up with 4 coats of Minwas Wipe-on Poly, and a final coat of paste wax. Thanks to all who offered advice during this project.   It was challenging for me, fun, and ultimately very rewarding.

Wow Awsome!  What did you end up doing to hide those biscuts?   Whatever you did it ended up looking great!

Wow!   I'm overwhelmed with your support.   It feels really good to get the feedback.

Drew, I have a couple of previous posts that described the process.   Search for Spiral Table.

TTalma, I ended up cutting out little rectangles around the biscuits and fitting in small pieces of cutoffs.   After some sanding, they are virtually invisible.   Larry gave me the idea.

Dave, thanks again for the finishing advice.

Joe, feel free to grab the posts.

Jeff
